From nurse to chief nursing officer
From a young age, Ashley Fogarty, Chief Nursing Officer at Regency Hospital Company – Portage, had a passion for science and caring for others. She followed those passions by pursuing a career in nursing. While in nursing school, Ashley worked as a certified nursing assistant and an EMT. Today, Ashley is a chief nursing officer at Regency Hospital Company. In addition to her nursing responsibilities, she is promoting outreach initiatives that will make Regency Hospital Company and Select Medical known in the community. Read more about Ashley's story.

Pharmacy tech turned pharmacist
We are thrilled to highlight Nuha Abdalla, a dedicated, licensed pharmacist at California Rehabilitation Institute. Originally from Sudan, Nuha's journey into pharmacy happened by coincidence but quickly became a perfect fit as she worked in hospitals, supporting patients with medications and deepening her appreciation for the significant impact pharmacists have on people's health.

From receptionist to business development manager
In 2005, high school junior Vanessa Chiu began working the front desk of a Miami outpatient center. That moment marked the beginning of a thriving 18-year career with Select Medical, where she advanced to a patients service specialist and later a senior business development manager. Vanessa said her team has always had her back and recognizes her many talents.
