About Baylor Scott & White Institute of Rehabilitation

We are dedicated to helping patients find their way back from all types of injuries, illnesses and chronic conditions. We offer a network of inpatient rehabilitation facilities, outpatient therapy centers and home-based services throughout North and Central Texas to help patients return to independent and productive lifestyles.

We provide care for the most challenging and medically complex patients, including those with traumatic brain injury, traumatic spinal cord injury and patients requiring ventilation. Our flagship hospital located in Dallas across from Baylor University Medical Center has been repeatedly recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 25 rehabilitation facilities in the nation.

Physical Therapy
We partner with patients to heal, relieve pain and get back to the things that are important. Our outpatient physical therapy locations offer occupational and hand therapy, sports medicine, workplace injury treatment and prevention, and specialized rehabilitation services.

Kenya's story
A recent PhD graduate in biomedical science from the University of Texas Medical Branch, 26-year-old Kenya Moore had her whole life ahead of her. One month after she defended her thesis, she was struck by a car. This sudden and severe accident left her with a traumatic brain injury, multiple broken bones and an entirely different journey ahead.
