Job Description
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient Ortho/Neuro
Location: Carlisle, PA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 3 evenings a week until 7pm 2 days a week done at 2pm, including Fridays! No Weekends
Compensation: Hourly range $23-$32/hr based on your experience.
Incentives: $10,000 sign on bonus plus $200 per month in Student Loan Assistance
Unique Location/Job Details: This is a multidisciplinary outpatient center that offers a diverse patient mix including, Lymphedima, Pelvic Floor, Vestibular/post-concussion, and sports medcine. 3 PTs, 1 PTA, 1 OT/hand therapist on staff looking to add a PTA. New grads or experienced Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) welcome to apply.
Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
