Position: Physical Therapist

Location: NovaCare Fort Washington, MD

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics

Schedule: Full Time Weekdays. 7A-330PM and two days 10:30A - 7P

Compensation: starting at $85,000

Incentives: Sign on Bonus up to $10,000 and/ or Indefinite Loan Help

We are seeking a full time physical therapist with at least one (1) year of outpatient orthopedic experience. We treat a diverse caseload of teens through geriatrics offering general ortho, neuro and oncology rehabilitative services. Our centers are locally managed by treating clinicians who average 10-12 patients per day with 60 minute evals and 45 minute treat times. New graduate physical therapists (PT) are welcome to apply.

Schedule: Full time 40 hour weekday schedule treating two evenings 10:30A-7PM with last patient scheduled an hour prior.

Responsibilities

  • Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school
  • Valid State Physical Therapist License
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
