Select Physical Therapy in Orlando, FL is now hiring a Part Time Physical Therapists (PT). Busy Orthopedic center, offering variety of services. Join our team of 3 PTs, 1 PTA and 1 OT treating primarily orthopedics including vestibular, concussion, sports med, industrial, FCEs,  POETs and hand therapy. Great mentorship opportunity for new grads, as other clinicians are OCS, COMT, CKTP credentials. Flexible on days/hours, approximately 24 hours a week. May be able to offer more hours if willing to cover other centers or Saturdays.

Calling all licensed Physical Therapists including newly licensed graduates and experience outpatient PTs, APPLY. 

Work schedule: Mon/Tues/Thurs 10am -7pm (flexible)

Compensation: Starting at $42/hr for new graduates. Hourly rate calculated by experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
