Job Description

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking an outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Greenville, OH!

Our outpatient center in Greenville, OH is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. This position will be working in a school covering a maternity leave with potential for Full-Time, but will also include Outpatient and Outpatient Pediatrics.  Minimum 2 years of outpatient experience required.  

Schedule: 8-6 M-Th, 8-12 F  (1-2 evenings until 6 PM)

Compensation: Hourly, $24.00 - $28.00/Hr.

Center speciaties:  Ortho, Pelvic Health, POETS, Neuro, Pediatrics, Vestibular, Aquatics, Dry Needling, and School contracts

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
  • Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
  • Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient care.
  • Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
  • National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Valid state driver’s license
