Position: Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatrics 

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Schedule: PRN, flexible schedule! We are open Mon-Fri

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00/hour

Select Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a PRN pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team in Virginia Beach, VA. We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.We have both clinic hours and early intervention hours. 

Must have CCCs for this position! Experience in outpatient pediatrics is preferred.

Will need to obtain Virginia early intervention certification (online webinar). 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs
  • Provides ongoing evaluation of patient’s status and goals
  • Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes
  • Coordinates treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
  • Attends appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination
  • To provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients

Qualifications

  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • VA SLP license required, CCCs required
  • ASHA certification is required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
