Job Description
RUSH Physical Therapy is currently seeking a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)/Injury Prevention Specialist in Chicago, IL
This position is for a Certified Athletic Trainer, required to be on-site, assessing acute workers compensation injuries on-site with FedEx located at O'Hare airport.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, starting at $45,000-$50,000/yr
Schedule: Full time evening hrs, 32hrs/wk, 5pm-11pm or
M 4-11pm = 7 hrs
T 4-11pm = 7 hrs
W 4-11pm = 7 hrs
Th 4-7pm = 3 hrs **
F 4-10pm = 6 hrs **

Responsibilities
- On-site coverage for industrial client under the direction of Account/Program Manager
- Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
- Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
- Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
- Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise and stretching
- Job coaching and behavior modification both one-on-one and in group settings
- Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
- Office ergonomics
- Health and wellness consultation
- Documentation and reporting on employee encounters
- Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
Qualifications
- BS Degree REQUIRED
- Minimum one year experience, industrial setting experience a plus
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Position requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
