Our  OP ortho physical therapy center in Mt. Vernon IL is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed therapist to lead and provide exceptional patient care experiences as a treating center manager.  Previous experience as a manager is not required but you must have at least two (2) years of OP orthopedic experience to be considered. NovaCare Rehabilitation outlined pathways for clinical and professional development will help you reach your leadership goals.

This is a 40 hour work week, Monday-Friday.  The physical therapist center manager will provide leadership to therapy team, market rehabilitative services and specialty programs to the medical community, attend regular management meetings, and participate in community activities. This location has served the Mt. Vernon community since 1992 and has 2 staff members with over 20 years of experience working with Select.  The clinic houses the only therapy-specific pool in town.

Responsibilities

  • Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
