Job Description
Position: Physical Therapist Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: NovaCare in Hagerstown Maryland
Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed Weekdays
Compensation: starting at $35/hr.

We are is open to FULL time, PART time and per diem physical therapists for our outpatient team. We treat a diverse caseload of teens through geriatrics. We offer a robust list of specialty services which include; neuro, vestibular, concussion, prosthetics & orthotics, sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), industrial (FCEs, POETs, etc.), fall prevention, dry needling and an ACL program.
Location: NovaCare Hagerstown at 220 Champion Drive (21740)
Center Hours: Monday - Thursday 8AM - 630PM and Fridays 7AM- 330PM
Setting and specialties: OP ortho, neurology, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports, oncology, industrial and MORE!
Schedule Options:
- Part time is less than 32 hours and a set schedule to include some evenings until 630pm. Your last patient is scheduled an hour prior.
- Per Diem/ PRN is as needed coverage. No set schedule or expectations.
- Full time begins at 32 hours and includes full benefits.
Benefits and Incentives: Part time, PRN, and per diem clinicians will have access to our in-person and CEU accrediting courses. If you perform more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year, 401(k) with company match is available. Full time begins at 32 hours and will include additional benefits (medical/dental/vision, full Con Ed access, PTO + Holidays + PST).

Responsibilities
- Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
- Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
- Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
- Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school
- Valid State Physical Therapist License
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
