 Occupational Therapist Full Time- FLOAT

*Mileage reimbursement*

Working as a Full Time OT Float you will be required to Float to our 5 Acute care hospital, located in Bridgeton, Lake St. Louis, Richmond Heights, Fenton, and St. Charles.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
  • Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
  • Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities. 
  • Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. 
  • Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Occupational Therapist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Located conveniently in historic, downtown St. Charles, our 333-bed acute care hospital is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, a Level II Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center and specializes in many other specialties.

  3. SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis is a two-time winner of the Premier Award for Quality. Centrally located in metro St. Louis, we provide exceptional care to all our patients and are a Level II Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center. We specialize in high-risk pregnancy care and fetal surgery. Plus, our chest pain center, certified stroke center, and imaging and outpatient services ensure you’re well taken care of in any situation

  4. SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis offers residents of western St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties exceptional health care close to home. Our 216-bed hospital is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center and specializes in obstetric and pediatric care, as well as many other specialties.

  5. SSM Health DePaul  - is accredited by The Joint Commission as a Center of Excellence for Total Joint Replacement and a Comprehensive Center of Excellence for Stroke.  DePaul serves the north and northwest St Louis County area in Missouri and our neighbors to the east in Illinois.  Our diverse and progressive therapy department participates in research and program advancement throughout the 450 bed hospital.
