Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Defuniak Springs, FL has an immediate opening for a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) Live & work near the beach! Our center is 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast. Join our team of 2 PT, 1 OT and a PSS treating post-surgical and general orthopedic patients in addition to vestibular/concussion patient. Our center also has a work strategies program and treats work conditioning patients, POETs, and FCEs. Let's discuss how we can foster your growth.
Newly licensed and experienced outpatient Physical Therapists, APPLY!
Work Schedule: As Needed Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm
Compensation. Starting at $42/hr. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
- Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
- Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
- Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
