Weatherford, TX / Full Time
($7,500.00 Sign-on Bonus)
Select Medical complies with state and federal wage and hour laws. Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity. Starting Salary: $75,920/year.
BSW Rehab Weatherford is seeking a Physical Therapist to join an awesome team of 2 PTs and 1 OT. Primary population is orthopedics, high level neuro, ReVital and Worker's comp. Experience in OP is preferred, but not required. The clinic has established referral sources with lots of opportunities for growth and program development. A successful candidate will be motivated and a flexible team-player with great communication skills.
Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating both our oncologic and orthopedic population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Mentorship is available for our full-time new graduate physical therapists. Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will work with a team of clinicians. Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
- Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
- Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
- Timely and accurate documentation using Net Health
- Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
- Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
- Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
- Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outpatient orthopedic experience (student rotations considered)
- Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
- Lymphedema interest/experience/certification
