Fitness Center Receptionist 

HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness Morgantown, WV

Compensation $14- $15/hr. based on experience

HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness in Morgantown WV is seeking an upbeat, personable and professional fitness receptionist for a PART TIME position at our fitness center. This is an in-person clerical position at our front desk / member services. You are the first face of our fitness center with heavy customer service responsibilities to include receiving, addressing and documenting fitness members' questions, comments and concerns. HealthWorks cultivates a team environment and your additional support for the needs of our vendors, external customers, co-workers, and leaders is expected. Similar to an office assistant, we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and dependable professional who can effectively communicate and contribute to our positive, safe and progressive work environment. 

You must have a First Aid Certification with high school diploma or general education degree (GED) to be considered. One to three months of related experience in healthcare, customer service and/or training in office or administrative duties is required. Similar positions include office assistant, medical office assistant and/or, healthcare receptionist.

At HealthWorks, we provide a state-of-the-art, full-size gymnasium in a family-friendly environment. We will help to keep you motivated as you improve your overall health and wellness goals through our fitness classes, personal training and nutrition offerings. We are open weekdays as early as 630AM until 7PM. An ideal fitness receptionist will be available 2-3 days per week on a set schedule based on your availability and our needs would be perfect

Responsibilities

• Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically, or face to face.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries to resolve customer complaints.
• Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, comments, and complaints.
• Follow up on customer interactions and record the details of resolutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• First Aid Certification.
