Full Time Physical Therapist

Dignity Health in Las Vegas is seeking a FULL time pelvic health physical therapist for our South Durango outpatient center. An ideal physical therapist has previous pelvic health experience, but we are OK with new graduate physical therapist who express an interest or have a passion in pelvic health (male and female). Level I Herman & Wallance HIGHLY preferred, but not required. We have mentorship and continuing education stipends available. At most, your caseload would be 50% pelvic health with the remaining 50% an orthopedic mix.
We have a large multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and assistants treating a mix of teens through geriatrics. Additional specialty services include sports medicine, high level neuro and post-op ortho with growing specialty in oncology as well.
We offer mentoring towards clinical specialization in orthopedics or sports (OCS, SCS) to keep your skills sharp! We are open as early as 7am and close at 6pm with Saturdays as needed. This is a full time 40 hour work week with a set schedule to include days and evenings until 6pm with last patient schedule an hour prior to close. Saturday coverage is occasional, typically once per month, for our active population.

- Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy.
- Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
- Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
- Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility.
- Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
- Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
