Job Description
Novacare Kids is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team!
The PRN PTA will be responsible for providing coverage in at our NovaCare Kids Pediatric clinic in Kalamazoo.The ideal candidate will have experience with pediactrics and 1 year of experience as a PTA is required. Schedule is PRN (as needed/fill-in)
Clinic Details: This is a large multidisciplinary pediatric center with service to pediatric patients birth to 18 years with diagnosis ranging from genetic disorders, austism, orthopedic conditions, developmental delays, speech and language delays, sensory processing and feeding disorders.
Schedule: PRN as needed (during center hours, Mon-Fri)
Compensation: $25.00 per hour and up (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
Required Credentials:
- A valid state license (where applicable), registration or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
- State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
