Staffing Coordinator / Scheduling Coordinator

We currently have an opening for a Home Health Staffing Coordinator at our Flower Mound office! Join our growing team!
The ideal candidate would have some experience with home health using HCHB, Home Care Home Base is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Works with the Director of Admissions, Director of Rehab, Admin, VP to develop a schedule following established scheduling guidelines and local practices. Maintains accuracy of information within the scheduling program.
Reviews daily schedules for productivity units to determine accuracy, proper coverage and requirements for staff and notifies appropriate managers of any inconsistencies in staffing patterns.
Coordinates assignment of personnel to areas consistent with their qualifications.
Forecasts staffing needs so that emergencies in staffing are avoided and the agency can provide safe care for all admissions.
Coordinates between intake/admissions, authorizations on scheduling needs
Acts as a liaison among Agency's personnel, patient/caregivers and physician when necessary.
Responsible for answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department as well as overhead paging when necessary.
Runs daily reports on visits to ensure accuracy of data as directed by workflow.
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (including licensure, certification and other job-related credentials)
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Healthcare staffing experience preferred
- Minimum of three years administrative experience preferred. Previous home health experience preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications required. HCHB experience preferred
- Must be able to multi-task.
