Select Physical Therapy in Burke Virginia is seeking local per diem Licensed Physical Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center. We have two locations in Burke! If you are seeking full time, we have opportunities available. We have additional clinicians in Burke able to consider new graduates who are interested in per diem or long term full time employment. We are open as early as 7am, closing at 7pm in need of coverage between our hours of operation. We treat a diverse caseload of teens through geriatrics offering specialty services such as; sports medicine, concussion management, industrial, spine, vestibular and more. Previous experience and certifications in dry needling, orthopedic and manual therapy is a PLUS.

We CAN discuss your participation in local CEU courses as a part time clinician once you are on board. 32 hours is full time and we can consider with a treating schedule in conjunction with our outpatient centers nearby.

- Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
- Ability to work as needed basis between our hours of operation (7a-7p) with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Ability to lift patients using appropriate bio-mechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
- Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directions.
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
- Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community.
- Possess fine motor skills for legible and accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence and presentations, either manually or through use of electronic equipment.
- Possess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.
