Full time Physical Therapist/Pelvic Health in our outpatient orthopedic center

in Northeast Philadelphia

Unique Location/Job Details: PELVIC FLOOR PHYSICAL THERAPIST  Preferred: 1-4 years of experience however, new grads are welcome.  We are looking for a dynamic physical therapist wanting to specialize in the treatment of patients with PELVIC FLOOR dysfunction and gain experience providing exceptional patient care as part of an industry-leading clinical team.  You will have the opportunity to work as part of a large network of specialists, more than 140 clinicians with one to thirty-two years of experience in pelvic health.  You will have access to a highly successful clinical training program consisting of 1 to 1 mentorship, weekly regional zoom calls, and monthly journal club as well as group conference calls.  You will have access to an unmatched continuing education program that includes live education courses, education for specialty practice, institutional subscriptions to clinical journals, study groups for board certifications, access to national conferences, and accredited online education.  You will work in a center that has been provided the most up to date equipment and resources to treat in this specialty as well as the business development support to drive referrals.  Student loan matching program as well as sign on bonuses are available when appropriate.  Apply today and learn more about the benefits of joining our team!

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
  • Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directions.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
  • Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community.
  • Possess fine motor skills for legible and accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence and presentations, either manually or through use of electronic equipment.
  • Possess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.
