Therapy Coordinator - Full Time - Inpatient

BSWIR-Dallas is a 94 bed rehabilitation hospital in the heart of downtown Dallas. We have a unique opening for a person who is passionate about patient care and is very organized to join our team as a therapy scheduling coordinator. This person will be responsible for supporting a large therapy department in managing patient schedules and appointments, auditing billing and documentation and managing 3 hour therapy compliance. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of therapy terminology and operations. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a passion for supporting a team and wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

The Therapy Coordinator performs various administrative duties to support the daily operations of the Rehabilitation Services Department. Position requires initiative, problem solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills. Coordinates patient scheduling, assist with staffing, audits and related activities. Promotes enhanced operations through strong communication and computer skills.


Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required

Proficiency in office skills, including typing and computer skills, and in the use of office equipment required.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting required

Preferred Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous experience within a therapy department and/or rehabilitation setting preferred.
