Physio's Athletic Training department in Atlanta, GA has an immediate need for a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide part time, evening shift 7 pm – midnight Monday through Friday covering onsite at a distribution center near Hartsfield airport. This position has the opportunity to develop into 32-40 hours a week with benefits!!
We are also looking for 2 per diem Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC's) to provide coverage of industrial onsite programs and sports related events as needed throughout the Atlanta metro areas. Early am shifts, mid day, and late shifts 6 pm – midnight available; some paid travel may be available as well. Need an outgoing personality and someone that can take the initiative, be a problem solver, and a team player. Newly licensed graduates or experienced Certified Athletic Trainers, APPLY!

Responsibilities
- Athletic Trainers in this position are responsible for providing injury prevention programming.
- Industrial onsite responsibilities include early intervention assessments, job coaching, body mechanic training, new hire orientation, functional movement screens, wellness assessments and sports related function
- Other responsibilities include: functional assessments, individual and group conditioning, corrective exercise programs, and educational presentations under the direction of the Program Medical Director.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BS Degree REQUIRED
- National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
ATC License (GA)
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
• Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
• Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility and in the community.
• Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing athletes, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
• Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
