DevOps Analyst/Developer II

Proven / Demonstratable Skills:

Responsibilities

The DevOps Analyst 1 will automate and maintain configurations, deployments, processes, infrastructure and integrations inside of Select Medical’s environment. The role will include extensive coordination with the application, development, and security teams. The DevOps Analyst will also be challenged with providing input to the hybrid, multi-cloud strategy and performing administrative functions inside of Azure and AWS tenants to meet the needs of Select Medical's dynamic environment. An ability to rapidly learn new technologies and environments to ensure a superior level of customer service is a must. The candidate will also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment. This DevOps position will be based in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
    • In Lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
  • 3-5 years of experience working in AWS
  • 2-3 years of infrastructure as code experience preferably Terraform

Proven / Demonstratable Skills:

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, M365, PowerShell, and infrastructure/configuration as code
  • Experience with source control, Gitlab CI/CD, Docker Images, and Kubernetes
  • Development experience with .NET, React, Redux, Typescript, SQL Server, Transact-SQL, Oracle, PL-SQL, XML, XSL, AJAX, jQuery, MVC, Python
  • Experience with modern multi-tier applications
