You will be providing symptom screening upon entrance to Select Specialty Hospital. Select Screeners need to be service oriented with patient and family care as your top priority. Our screeners possess the ability to remain customer focused while adhering to and guiding visitors to abide by Select’s visitor guidelines. Screeners are committed to the continuous improvement of the patient experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service.
Screeners may have the ability to cross train as Unit Secretary or various positions within Select Specialty Hospital as interest, education, skills, and abilities align.
In addition to screener responsibilities you may be asked to provide clerical services to the patient care units by:
- Filing reports
- Answering the telephone, taking and delivering messages by phone or verbally.
- Maintaining close communication with the Charge Nurse/House Supervisor.
- Handling all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Ordering supplies, as needed, from Materials Management.
You are attentive to detail and organized, enthusiastic and focused on being a customer-service oriented team member.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
