Business Development Manager
NovaCare is the country’s largest provider of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our Prosthetics and Orthotics market. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for implementing business development strategies to grow volume in core programs which is consistent within established budgets, goals and objectives. You assist in setting expectations and providing leadership collaboration with local divisional leadership. The Business Development Manager supports, cultivates and maintains relationships with key referral sources in assigned territories. This position will require travel and needs a dynamic, motivated individual preferably with previous experience in healthcare and business.
This position is responsible for increasing revenues, profits and new patients within a defined geographic area. Responsible for the achievement of financial objectives and strengthening customer and employee engagement throughout the designated regions.
We are looking for someone who is able to utilize analytics to strategically target referral sources, and who can also utilize analytics in conjunction with our operation teams to identify growth opportunities.
NovaCare P&O is part of Select Medical Corporation's Outpatient Division, a nationally prominent, locally driven provider of outpatient physical rehabilitation with almost 1800 locations in 37 states and the District of Columbia. - Preferred: Credentialed in healthcare (e.g. Nurse, PT, OT, RT, etc.)
- Formal sales training.
- PC Ability
- 3-5 years sales experience in a service or healthcare related industry code, calling, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Preferred 5+ years experience in healthcare services including managed care sales.
- Preferred: Knowledge of the rehab industry.
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a work day/shift
- Appropriate manual dexterity to enable typing (including10-key) throughout a work day/shift
- Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written direction
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
