Human Resources Director (HRD) - On Site
California Rehab Institute is currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join their collaborative leadership team. Under the direction of the CEO, provides daily management and supervision of Human Resources function at assigned hospital. Assists management in identifying and maintaining optimal employee performance and engagement. Ensures all assigned employee transactions are accurately recorded within HR system. Coordinates payroll process at local level. Serves as liaison between Cal Rehab and Select Medical Corporate Office regarding HR-related projects and/or issues. Acts as HR resource to Cal Rehab Leadership Team and mentor to HR staff. Position has four direct reports.
- Bachelors Degree in HR, Business or related field required. (Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of the degree with the approval of VP, HR Operations).
- Must be familiar with CA HR Laws.
- Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS preferred.
- Expertise in benefit administration, Employee Relations functions, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.
