Job Description

Select Medical’s Concentra Division is seeking a legal assistant to support its Legal Department by providing administrative and legal support services.

Responsibilities

Work directly with our attorneys to provide administrative support in managing the completion of diverse tasks and projects, which includes: coordinating the completion of client-issued vendor registration forms required by client contracts; tracking development, review, and completion of client contracts and other documents to ensure deadlines are met and signatures obtained; preparing template agreements and amendments as requested by attorneys; researching legal issues; assisting in tracking and monitoring regulatory changes that impact Concentra’s operations; and assisting with completion of license applications. This position will involve both independent responsibilities and close coordination with members of the Legal Department and colleagues in affiliated corporate departments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, and possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent communication, critical thinking, and computer skills required. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and willing to assume new responsibilities as needed to support the Legal Department.

 

  • Associate degree required, paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Less than 3 years of  legal experience required.
