Responsibilities
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for direct care to a patient population for our Home Health division including medication administration, data collection and documentation of patient conditions and notification to the Registered Nurse/Physician of any adverse patient findings. This position requires graduation from LPN/LVN school and current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. BLS certification is required.
Qualifications
1. Current state licensure as LVN required.
2. Certified BLS completion required; for new hires, see CPR Requirement Guidelines for New Hires.
3. Previous rehabilitation or hospital experience preferred.

2 Inpatient Rehab Units in Baylor Hospitals
7 Acute Care Therapy Departments
71 Outpatient Therapy Locations

- Rehabilitation Assistant/Nursing Assistant
- Nurse
- Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy

POETS are completed as part of the onboarding process- to be completed before an employee’s first day of work.
