Speech Language Pathologist-Outpatient

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) is seeking a full-time speech pathologist in our Ft. Worth Bryant Irvin clinic. BSWIR Outpatient has a multi-disciplinary team model working closely with physical therapy and occupational therapy. We are searching for candidates with experience in treating adult cognitive-communication and dysphagia as well as interest in treating dysphagia following treatment for head/neck cancer. We work as part of the continuum of care, striving to get patients back to their premorbid functioning. Adult outpatient therapy consists of diagnostics and treatment of stroke, acquired brain injury, dysphagia, voice, MS, Parkinson's disease, cancer, dementia and other medical complexities in a multi-disciplinary setting. Experience with LSVT or SPEAK OUT! preferred. Our outpatient speech therapy team includes many experienced clinicians with specialties in a variety of areas which serve as great mentors. We offer a clinical ladder for advancement and company-supported professional development and CEU's. Require at least 3 years of experience treating adult neuro population.
Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required. Must have CCCs. Inpatient or acute experience preferred.
