Physical Therapist - Women's Health Residency - Plano (Alliance)

Responsibilities
The Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation-Texas Woman's University Residency in Women's Health Physical Therapy program encompasses the breadth of women's health including obstetrical (pregnancy and post-partum), pelvic floor therapy, osteoporosis, scoliosis, lymphedema, aging female, and relevant orthopedic diagnoses that are more prevalent in women than men.
Mentorship provides a unique learning opportunity to learn new skills, refine orthopedic skills with a women's health focust, and have unlimited experiences with expert therapists practicing in the area of women's health. Mentorship covers all areas of women's health as defined by the APTA specialty of practices and will prepare the resident for the WCS board exam. The graduate from the accredited program will qualify for the WCS.
The didactic portion of the curriculum will be provided by Texas Woman's University. Residents will receive an academic certificate of women's health from TWU upon completion of the didactic curriculum.
This is a full time, salaried position. After an initial phone screen, an essay describing your motivating factors to apply for the residency and two letters of recommendation will be required.
