Critical Illness Recovery Hospital 

Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator

At Select Specialty/ Regency Hospital, a division of Select Medical, our specialty hospitals care for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. We are currently seeking a ­­­­­Staffing Coordinator to join our team. We offer an excellent network of career opportunities across the U.S.


As a Staffing Coordinator you will be responsible for providing staffing and other support as necessary hospital-wide. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for putting together the six (6) week schedule for approval by the CNO as well as forecast staffing needs so that emergencies in staffing are avoided and the hospital can provide safe care for all admissions. 

Other requirements of the Staffing Coordinator role include: 

  • Keeps records of all agency nurses, to include current licensure, competencies and evaluations
  • Establishes a pattern of agency reduction
  • Establishes excellent relationships with clinical staff to facilitate staffing and scheduling adjustments
  • Creates forms, flyers, and other creative documents using Word processing

Other requirements of the Staffing Coordinator role include: 

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience with Word processing and forms creation and technically literate in Microsoft Office Suite of products (including Outlook)
  • Positive, caring and customer-service-oriented attitude
