We are seeking a full-time speech pathologist experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of functional, organic, and neurological voice disorders in their outpatient interdisciplinary department. In addition, experience in voice issues secondary to head/neck cancer and ability to perform videostroboscopy is preferred.
BSWIR Outpatient has a multi-disciplinary team model overseen by Baylor laryngologist, Dr. Lindsey Arviso, in addition to a network of community ENTs in the vast Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. We work with a variety of diagnosis, including vocal lesions, laryngeal cancers, PVFM/VCD, tremor, MTD, SD, vocal fold atrophy, and vocal fold paralysis or paresis. Clinical caseload may also include treatment of dysphagia (secondary cause of MTD, reflux, cancer, neurological changes, or deconditioning). This role allows for continued leadership opportunities within the BIR voice community, which prides itself in its strong team of SLPs who practice in a variety of specialty areas.
Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certificate of Clinical Competence required. Outpatient experience with voice disorders required.
