Select Physical Therapy is looking to hire a Pediatric Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) for our Pediatric Center Ankeny, Iowa.

Responsibilities

The RBT will be expected to carry out the responsibilities on the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's RBT Task List.

The six categories are as follows:

Measurement - prepare, enter, and update all data related to clients on caseload

Assessment - Describe and record client behaviors in measurable terms. Assist the BCBA with assessment procedures, which vary depending on each client's behavioral needs.

Skill Acquisition - With the BCBA, create a skill acquisition plan for the student and implement procedures to encourage the student's acquisition of the target skill.

Behavior Reduction - With the BCBA, create a behavior reduction plan and implement interventions and differential reinforcement procedures.

Documentation and Reporting - Generate a complete report while complying with all applicable legal, regulatory, and workplace requirements. This report will involve other variables, such as illness and medical notes, and other objective observations. 

Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice - Maintain clear lines of communication and professional boundaries, and implement supervisors feedback to improve professional performance.

Qualifications

Required Credentials:

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certificates.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
